Welding Rules of PPR Pipe Systems According to DVS 2207
• Welding of PPR pipe systems should be performed according to DVS rules and with the right equipment.
• Equip the welding machine with suitable size and do not use tools with worn teflon coverage.
• The welding machine should be turned on and reach the appropriate temperature [260 ±10 °C].
• Products prepared for welding should be cleaned. Products must be dust-free, oil-free and dry.
• The products to be welded are placed on the welding socket perpendicular to the axis and advanced to the appropriate size.
During this process, the products should not be turned.
• When processing time is completed the products should be quickly removed without turning.
• After the products are fully combined, the cooling times given in the table below must be followed. During this process, the products should not be turned.
• The periods given in the table below should be followed during welding process. The process values vary according to the diameters of the products.
• After the application, before the installation is closed with plaster, it is recommended to perform a 24-hours leak test at 1,5 times the system pressure.

DURING INSTALLATION OF GEAR PRODUCTS OF PP-R PIPE SYSTEMS
• DO NOT USE FLAX.
• It is recommended to use Teflon tape or liquid gasket.
• In the assembly of threaded products, excessive tightening should be avoided.
